News from any one organization or person should be limited to no more than three paragraphs and one or two images.
Send copy in body of email. Send images as attachments.
If you have an event to promote and have a flyer, great! Flyers should be sent as jpgs (not pdfs!) and should be readable on a cell phone.
File size for photos and graphics should be no more than 2 mgs. (Less is best!)
If you have a website people can go to for more information, terrific! Include a hyperlink or your website address.
If you have an event on July 2nd, it should be in the JUNE issue in order for people to mark it on their calendar. (Submit by May 20.) If your event is on July 17th, it should be in the JULY issue. Submit by June 20.)
Include your name and a phone number with the submission.
Business owners:
At no charge, you are welcome to share news of new products or services, sales and special offers, or general news about recent success, needs, or employee achievements. Follow guidelines listed above for written submissions.
Graphic advertisements and Help Wanted ads are welcome at the current rate of $50 per issue and can hyperlink to your website, Facebook page or google places listing. (Send graphic advertisements as jpg attachment.)
